Shez: I’m very excited to say as a data and analytics organization, CIHI has embarked on the development of an AI strategy, which is an important transformation initiative for us as an organization. We spent… it was an iterative process… we spent many months talking to stakeholders and our staff to understand where our readiness was, what our technology capabilities are and what our provincial, territorial and other PCHO partners want to see from CIHI from an AI perspective.
So, what this means is that we will be able to use some of the leading AI technology to not only help us become more efficient as an organization in terms of how our staff are able to automate some of our internal processes, but also ensure that we are able to get our data out more in a more timely fashion, so on our website in a more timely fashion so that the stakeholders that are coming to our website looking for information are able to see data that is much more recent to help them with their decision-making.
(Music starts.)
