Provincial Average Acute LOS Percentile Reports, 2023–2024

In response to requests from a number of facilities, the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) is making a province-specific report on average acute length of stay (LOS) for 2023–2024 available to all DAD clients. Province-specific 10th, 25th and 50th percentile average acute lengths of stay will be provided by Case Mix Group, resource intensity level and age using the CMG+ 2024 grouping methodology.

The report can be purchased from CIHI at a cost of $370 per hospital plus tax. If you wish to purchase this product, please complete the form below and email it to snap@cihi.ca.

Within a week of our receiving this email, you will receive the requested report via email, along with an invoice for the product.
