The purpose of the CMG+ Client Tables is to provide common case mix information in a format that can be utilized for analysis purposes. The tables include the mapping of codes to descriptions as well as the ELOS/RIW indicators by methodology year.
The CMG+ package includes the following tables in addition to a file with variable descriptions:
- CMG Title- the French and English long and short CMG+ descriptions and codes
- MCC Title - the French and English long and short MCC descriptions and codes
- Atypical RIW Title - the French and English atypical descriptions and codes
- Atypical RIW - the ELOS, RIW and per diem adjustment for atypical (death, transfer, and sign-out) cases
- Base ELOS RIW - the base ELOS, Trim, RIW, per-diem and long-stay per diem values by CMG and age group
- Comorbidity Code Finder - the diagnostic codes used for comorbidity adjustment

- Comorbidity ELOS RIW - the ELOS, RIW and per diem adjustments for comorbidity cases
- Event ELOS RIW - the ELOS, RIW and per diem adjustments for intervention event cases
- Flagged Intervention ELOS RIW - the ELOS, RIW and per diem adjustments for flagged intervention cases
- Flagged Intervention Code Finder - the intervention codes used for flagged intervention assignment
- LOS Percentile - the 10th, 25th, and 50th percentile CMG-RIL specific LOS values
- Acute LOS Variance - the LOS variance (Acute LOS-ELOS) average and percentiles by CMG
- Acute LOS Variance Jurisdictional- the LOS variance percentiles by jurisdiction (East/Ontario/Central&North/Alberta/British Columbia)
- OOH ELOS RIW - the ELOS, RIW and per diem adjustments for OOH intervention cases
