Bio
As director of Specialized Care, Nicholas Gnidziejko is responsible for strategic leadership and successful execution of initiatives related to the planning, development and ongoing operation of data holdings related to home care, long-term/continuing care, rehabilitation services and hospital-based mental health and substance use services.
With more than 15 years of experience in the health care sector, Mr. Gnidziejko has held multiple leadership roles at CIHI, most recently as the manager of Digital Solutions, where he was responsible for overseeing delivery of a large-scale transformational program of work to re-imagine how CIHI manages and presents data and information to stakeholders. Prior to joining CIHI, Mr. Gnidziejko held several management roles at ICES, leading and contributing to a wide range of health care data and research initiatives.
Mr. Gnidziejko has a Bachelor of Science in mathematical science and a Master of Science in eHealth (business specialization), both from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
