2013 Medical Laboratory Technologist, Medical Radiation Technologist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist and Pharmacist Data Now Available
August 28, 2014—The Health Workforce Information team at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) is pleased to announce the availability of 2013 workforce data on medical laboratory technologists, medical radiation technologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and pharmacists in Canada.
CIHI currently collects and reports on 27 groups of health care professionals. Data may include information on the education, supply, distribution and/or practice characteristics of a health professional. Collecting and reporting health human resources (HHR) data assists decision-makers in the planning and distribution of health care providers. Data may be of particular value to researchers, health care facilities, regional health authorities, ministries of health and others interested in HHR planning in Canada.
