- In 2019, there were 43,744 pharmacists licensed to practice in Canada.
- 1 out of 3 pharmacists (33%) was internationally educated, ranging from a high of 47% in Ontario to a low of 5% (or less) in the Atlantic provinces.
- Between 2014 and 2019, the supply of pharmacists increased by about 15%.
