As Canada celebrates its 150th anniversary, so too does the Canadian Medical Association (CMA). Our president and CEO, David O’Toole, attended the CMA’s 150th General Council meeting in Québec. Highlights included the association’s advocacy efforts and sessions on innovation in medicine, medical assistance in dying and other key issues. This year, sessions also focused on Canada’s opioid crisis and medical professionalism.
