Cardiac care quality indicators

The cardiac care quality indicators are a set of quality measures that are nationally comparable at the facility level.

The indicators support cardiac care centres in their quality improvement efforts by providing comparable information and by creating a forum for knowledge sharing and care process discussions. Results of the cardiac care quality indicators have been presented at the following events:

  • Canadian Cardiovascular Congress, Montréal, Quebec, October 2010 (poster)
  • Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research (CAHSPR), Toronto, Ontario, May 2010 (poster)
