As director of Human Resources and Administration, Elizabeth Blunden has responsibility for providing vision, leadership and direction in formulating strategies, programs, policies and procedures for the Human Resources and Administration division, as well as for ensuring that the organization is compliant with legislation relating to CIHI’s Human Resources and Corporate Administration programs.
Ms. Blunden has more than 20 years of experience as both a generalist and a specialist in labour relations and has held various management positions in human resources. She has worked in the federal, municipal and private sectors. Ms. Blunden joined CIHI in February 2007 as manager, Human Resources, and assumed the role of director in May 2008. She has a Bachelor of Administrative Studies and a Master’s of Business Administration and is a Certified Human Resources Professional.
