Report overview
The e-Statistics Report is based on aggregate-level statistics received by CIHI from 10 organ donation organizations (ODOs) across Canada. For all provinces except Quebec, aggregate data on utilized donors and organs transplanted was validated against the record-level data submitted to CIHI’s Canadian Organ Replacement Register (CORR) by ODOs and transplant programs. Data is subject to change based on future data submissions and may vary from data previously published by CIHI. Please note that pancreas islet cell transplant information is included in this report. For statistics on solid organ transplants only, the statistics on pancreas islet cell transplants should be subtracted from the overall totals.
