Bulletin: DAD and NACRS Data Submission Manual, 2013–2014 (PDF)
April 26, 2013—The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) is pleased to provide its clients with the new 2013–2014 DAD and NACRS Submission Manual. This manual highlights submission practices for the Discharge Abstract Database (DAD) and National Ambulatory Care Reporting System (NACRS), providing clear examples of where similarities and differences exist.
Accessing the Manual
For Core Plan Clients
The DAD and NACRS Submission Manual is posted on the DAD/NACRS Abstracting Manual Application.
If you have not yet registered with CIHI's Client Services, you will need to create an account by selecting "Create a profile."
If you are registered but do not have the DAD/NACRS Abstracting Manual Application, please contact the Central Client Services team (email@example.com) to request that this application be added to your available services.
For All Other Clients
If you are not a Core Plan subscriber, you can order the DAD Abstracting Manual and the NACRS Abstracting Manual on the estore. Add the manual to your cart and then sign in using your user ID and password.
