Quality is at the heart of everything CIHI does. And every April, we celebrate Quality Month at CIHI.
Throughout the month, CIHIers participate in fun and engaging activities to learn about quality practices. We also host guest speakers who bring different perspectives on data and information quality and touch on some of the priority populations in our strategic plan, such as Indigenous peoples, recipients of mental health and addictions services, and seniors.
CIHI’s Data and Information Quality Program is recognized nationally and internationally for its comprehensiveness and high standards. Our goals are to continuously improve data and information quality within CIHI and the broader health sector.
Improving data and information quality is a collaborative effort. CIHI works with its data suppliers and users to support each of these activities.
