Downloading Case Mix files
Case Mix products tend to be large even when compressed, as they include numerous files in both HTML and PDF formats. The CMG+ Directory is the largest Case Mix product, with a file size of more than 125 MB when packaged into a compressed file.
Clients who are using a high-speed internet connection in a work environment should not have a problem downloading any of the Case Mix products on CIHI’s website. Downloading the CMG+ Directory should generally take less than 5 minutes with a connection speed of 10 Mbps (megabits per second). Note that download speeds may vary based on a combination of factors, including internet connection type, ISP and network traffic. If you want to test your download speed, many websites offer this service. One that is not affiliated with any Canadian ISPs is www.speedtest.net.

Please note: As there are thousands of files inside the compressed file, it could take up to an hour to extract the CMG+ Directory once it has been downloaded, depending on the speed of your computer and network traffic.
