The Rehabilitation program area at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) is pleased to announce that adult inpatient rehabilitation data from the National Rehabilitation Reporting System (NRS) is now available for 2011–2012.
The NRS data includes demographic, administrative and clinical information on clients from 103 participating facilities in nine provinces. Data may be of particular value to researchers, health care facilities, regional health authorities, ministries of health and others for exploring areas such as client characteristics, resource utilization and outcomes.
Organization-level electronic reports based on the 2011–2012 data have already been provided to participating facilities. Stakeholders will be kept informed of additional planned information and analytical products based on the most recent NRS data, including Analyses in Brief and updated Quick Stats, at www.cihi.ca. Information on making customized data requests can be accessed here.
Please contact the Rehabilitation program area at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or comments about the NRS, or visit the NRS web page at www.cihi.ca/nrs. Specific coding or data submission questions may be sent to the CIHI eQuery service.
