New OECD data compares health indicators in 34 countries

OECD Health Data 2011

June 30, 2011—OECD Health Data 2011 is now available from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). This electronic database provides the most comprehensive set of statistics and indicators for comparing health systems across 34 OECD member countries, including Canada, the United States, the European Community, Australia and Japan.

The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) and Statistics Canada maintain the Canadian segment of the OECD Health Database, contributing national data on health care spending, health care services and the health status of the population.
