At CIHI, we provide essential data and analysis on Canada’s health system and the health of Canadians. We’re able to track data in many areas, thanks to information supplied by

- Regional health authorities
- Medical practitioners
- Governments
Other sources provide further data to help inform CIHI’s in-depth analytical reports. Government bodies, hospitals, health authorities and professional associations use this information to assess the effectiveness of different parts of the health system and plan for the future.

- Canadian MIS Database (CMDB) Submission Reports
These reports provide feedback to our data providers. This facilitates the provision of data to the CMDB that meets both the technical specifications of the database and the requirements of the MIS Standards. These reports are private and can be viewed only by a selected representative from each jurisdiction.

Enables those participating in the Canadian Joint Replacement Registry to enter and submit data, as well as to run statistical and summary reports in real time.
CJRR >> - eManagement
An interactive, self-service reporting tool to monitor your data submissions to six of CIHI's data holdings. Includes a quick demo. eManagement is generated using the data submitted through eDSS.
